The Alaska Nursing Action Coalition has partnered with RRANN to help support the recruitment and retention of Alaska Natives into Nursing education programs. Since it began in 1998, RRANN has proudly helped 214 Alaska Native and American Indian students enroll and ultimately graduate from the School of Nursing. Currently, RRANN serves Alaska Native and/or American Indian students from 86 Alaska communities which are shown on the map (right). 80% RRANN graduates remain in Alaska to serve our population with excellent and culturally relevant health care.
